Last Day @ Work

Last day at work, Evan organized a farewell lunch for me at a nearby Japanese restaurant. Almost everyone from Construction, Architecture and E&F showed up - a good indication that I actually existed in the company.

A few things that I will miss after leaving S&B:

1. Listening to everyone bitch about their work and the people he/she work with


2. Eddie announcing for the Nth time that he is going to quit


3. Jeff's "Can you please do me favor?"


4. Not getting permit, not getting lease, failed inspections, not getting C of O......


5. Mike and his never-ending spreadsheets, statistics and change order percentage
   
6. Phone calls from contractors/subcontractors asking for $$$


7. IO team asking questions every other 10 minutes


8. Vegetarian subs


9. Sleeping on LIRR


10. Increase in account balance on Thursday every other 2 weeks

There were ups and downs during my time with S&B. Plenty of fuck-ups, cursings, and blames; some humble amount of successes and praises. It's hard to say if life after S&B would be for better or worse (can there be worse?). Nevertheless, there is no turning back now, so no point for lingering thoughts.

Indeed, it's time to say goodbye, and move on to greener pastures.
